New research is continually expanding genetic testing options, increasing the number of patients who might be helped by recent advances in genomics and pharmacogenomics towards a focus on precision medicine in health care. This presentation will highlight some of those advances in direct to consumer genetic testing and clinical genetic testing. Current guidelines and approaches to genomic testing will be discussed.
