  4. Identify processes and outcomes from practices to allow longer functional dwell time of short peripheral catheters (SPCs).
  5. Identify the effectiveness of local anesthetics and factors influencing nurses? use of these anesthetics for intravenous (IV) cannulation and arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling.
