Purpose of Activity
To provide information on a nursing intervention to facilitate advance care planning (ACP) for persons experiencing homelessness (PEHs).Learning Objectives
After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:
- Select challenges faced by PEHs and barriers to completing an advance directive (AD).
- Identify the methods and results from a study designed to determine whether an AD form recreated for PEHs would positively affect their completion of the AD as well as their overall experience with ACP.
