Purpose of Activity

To provide information about the needs of families of patients with acquired brain injury (ABI) in acute care and rehabilitation settings in order to improve the quality of support offered to them.

  1. Recall results from a literature review on the needs and experiences of families of persons suffering from ABI.
  2. Summarize the methods used and characteristics of patients in this study.
  3. Specify the results of this study on families of patients with ABI in acute care and rehabilitation settings.
