Purpose of Activity
To provide information on the natural history of symptom experience and functional recovery following a mild-moderate traumatic brain injury (TBI) in older and younger adults in the first year post-injury.Learning Objectives
After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:
- Identify causes of TBI, the number of symptoms, and scores on the Glasgow Outcome Scale-Extended (GOS-E) and physical and mental health-related quality of life (HRQOL) scales of younger and older adults with mild-moderate TBI.
- Describe the types of symptoms endorsed by younger and older adults over the course of one year following mild-moderate TBI.
