Purpose of Activity
To present a summary of the guidelines developed by the Italian Association of Stoma care Nurses in collaboration with the Italian Association of Endoscopic Operators and the Italian Association of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates for the nursing management of adult patients with Percutaneous Endoscopic gastrostomy or jejunostomy (PEG/PEJ) and Gastro-Jejunostomy (PEGJ) tubes.Learning Objectives

- Outline adult patient preparation for PEG/PEJ placement, management of the stoma and enteral nutrition (EN) tube, and administration of EN and medications.
