Purpose of Activity

To present a study designed to evaluate the determinants of quality of life (QOL) of caregivers of individuals with Parkinson's disease (IWPD).

Learning Objectives

After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:

  1. Recall literature findings regarding the impact of Parkinson's disease (PD) on individuals and their caregivers.
  2. Explain the determinants of QOL of caregivers of IWPD as determined in this study.
  3. Identify key practice points for working with caregivers of IWPD.
