Purpose of Activity

To provide information on the use of periarticular injections of ketorolac for patients with joint replacements.

Learning Objectives

After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:

  1. Evaluate results from the literature on the effectiveness of various types of post-operative analgesia.
  2. Assess whether the use of ketorolac injections significantly impacts pain control as measured by decreased length of stay (LOS), increased early mobilization, and opioid consumption.
