Purpose of Activity

To provide information on methods to adopt an evidence-based framework within their organizational setting.

Learning Objectives

After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:

  1. Recognize the importance of evidence-based health care (EBHC).
  2. Identify what an EBHC organization requires and describe potential barriers.
  3. Delineate strategies involved in adopting an evidence based approach to an organization including point of care information systems, audit and feedback, journal clubs and introducing local change champions.
