Key steps in the guideline development process include: determining the cope, purpose and target audience; formulating clinical questions; identifying the best available evidence; and developing recommendations based on evidence. A multifaceted strategy that takes into account barriers to practice change is more likely to be successful than a single strategy.Purpose of Activity
