Activity Steps

Description

NOTE: This activity requires payment before viewing.

A clinical practice guideline is a useful tool for translating evidence into clinical practice in order to improve the quality of health care. Key steps in the guideline development process include: determining the cope, purpose and target audience; formulating clinical questions; identifying the best available evidence; and developing recommendations based on evidence. A multifaceted strategy that takes into account barriers to practice change is more likely to be successful than a single strategy.
